De crematie van de Surinaamse oud-president Desi Bouterse is op zaterdag 4 januari in Paramaribo. Dat heeft het hoofdbestuur van zijn Nationale Democratische Partij bekendgemaakt. De avond ervoor staat de partij stil bij het leven en werk van Bouterse tijdens een herdenkingsavond.
