Op het Japanse eiland Hokkaido is vrijdag het eerste drijfijs van het jaar waargenomen. Bijna jaarlijks drijven er grote ijsschotsen van de rivier Amoer, via de Zee van Ochotsk, naar het eiland. Source: News
