De vicevoorzitter van de raad van bestuur van het LUMC legt tijdelijk zijn functie neer. Pancras Hogendoorn doet dat na berichtgeving van Omroep West en Follow the Money, waaruit blijkt dat hij op de hoogte was van fraude door Europese onderzoeksubsidies.
