De FIFA heeft de omstreden Spaanse bondsvoorzitter Luis Rubiales zaterdag per direct geschorst, daags nadat hij had geweigerd zijn ontslag in te dienen wegens zijn wangedrag na de WK-finale. De straf geldt voorlopig voor negentig dagen.
