De Europese Centrale Bank (ECB) heeft haar belangrijkste rentetarief opnieuw verhoogd. Belangrijkste doel is om de inflatie terug te brengen richting de 2 procent. Tot nu toe is de inflatie ondanks zes eerdere renteverhogingen hooguit gestabiliseerd.
