De Belgische premier Alexander De Croo heeft bevestigd dat de schietpartij in Brussel van maandagavond een terroristische aanslag was. De Croo heeft zijn landgenoten dinsdagochtend opgeroepen om hun “Belgische kalmte” te bewaren.
