Onder het bewind van de Braziliaanse oud-president Jair Bolsonaro kreeg de Amazone de afgelopen jaren flink wat klappen te verwerken. Inmiddels is Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva aan de macht in het land en dat is goed nieuws voor het regenwoud.
