Zineb El Rhazoui, oud-journaliste van het satirische blad Charlie Hebdo, is de Simone Veil-prijs kwijtgeraakt. Zij kreeg de prijs in 2019 voor haar strijd tegen het jihadisme na de aanslag op de redactie van het blad in 2015.
